Hello

Shukrana Journal — A Home for Daily Gratitude

Shukrana is more than a practice — it’s a way of living with awareness, softness, and connection to the blessings already present in our lives. Rooted in Sikh values and inspired by the power of reflection, the Shukrana Journal was created to help you slow down, breathe, and return to yourself.

Here, you’ll find tools, prompts, and mindful rituals designed to bring clarity, peace, and intention into your daily routine. Whether you’re beginning your gratitude journey or deepening your spiritual practice, this space is your gentle reminder to pause and say thank you.

About me

My name is Rimi, and Shukrana was born during one of the hardest chapters of my life.

I created this journal while I was fighting breast cancer — a season filled with fear, uncertainty, and moments where I had to dig deep just to keep going. Between treatments, doctor visits, and trying to stay strong for my child, I found myself clinging to the smallest moments of gratitude. A warm cup of cha. A quiet prayer. A cozy corner of my home. A reminder from Gurbani that I was held, even when everything felt heavy.

But I didn’t walk that journey alone.

My husband stood by me through every high and low — the late‑night worries, the appointments, the days when I didn’t feel like myself. My friends and family became my backbone, showing up with love, laughter, meals, prayers, and the kind of support that can only come from people who truly care. Their strength carried me on the days mine ran out.

And somewhere in the middle of all that pain and all that love, Shukrana was born.

I’ve always loved home — the way a space can feel warm, intentional, and healing. Curating little corners, choosing pieces that bring comfort, creating routines that make life feel softer… that’s always been my love language. So it felt natural to blend that with my spiritual practice and my healing journey.

Shukrana became my way of slowing down, grounding myself, and choosing hope even when life felt overwhelming. Today, it’s my way of sharing that same grounding energy with others — especially anyone navigating their own difficult season.

If you’re here, I hope this space brings you peace, reflection, and a reminder that even in the hardest moments, there is still something to be grateful for. Sometimes small. Sometimes quiet. But always there.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for choosing Shukrana.
